Sapa is located in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled regions of  North Vietnam close to the Chinese border in the Hoang Lien  mountain range. The scenery is a spectacular combination of jungle with rural terraces and rich agricultural areas where the native inhabitants live and harvest their crops.

Famous for its cool climate (warm days and cool evenings in summer and cold in winter), Sapa is homeland of many colorful native hill tribes.
