DMZ tour - 1 day - from Quangtri
8.00: After breakfast, pick- up in Dong Ha, which is well known as the Leatherneck Square, bounded by Con Tien, Gio Linh and Cam Lo, drive some 65 kilometre on route 09 - an old French-built road penetrating into Laos - to Khe Sanh Combat base and pass series of Fire Support Bases including Camp Carroll, Fullerand Rockpile. Stopping brriefly to visit and taking photo of Fuller - a large U.S fire base- and Rocpile - a huge U.S Marine look-out on the route 9 defensive line.
- 10.30: Arrive at Khe Sanh plateau . Visit Khe sanh Combat Base- a large U.S Marine combat base.
- 11.30: Back to Dong Ha town for lunch.
- 13.30: Head North on Highway 1 to the Vinh Moc tunnels- an underground village system in the “ free fire zone of Vinh Linh district”. Stop midway to visit Doc Mieu support fire base just below the DMZ, Part of the Mc Namara Electronic barrier
- 14.00: Stop at the middle of the former DMZ ( exactly at the 17th parallel ) to visit Hien Luong bridge across the Ben Hai river - once the former temporary military demarcation line between North and South Vietnam.
-                            15.00: Arrive at the Vinh Moc Tunnels, visit the museum and the tunnels.
-                            16.00: Back to Dong Ha, end of the trip.
