BIRD WATCHING - CAT TIEN

4day trip - start from Saigon
 
 
Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh City - Nam Cat Tien
Drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Check in to a local guesthouse. In the afternoon, proceed to the Ben Cu area to bird watch. View old-growth forest and the rapids at Thac Troi and Thac Dung. Walk back to guesthouse in late afternoon. Overnight in the national park guest house.

Day 2 : Nam Cat Tien - Bird watching
Early morning walk to Daclua, enjoying bird watching along the way. As the walk progresses, guests can see greater quantities and varieties of birds. Two rare species native to the area include the Germain's Peacock Pheasant and Siamese Fireback. Transfer to jeep for late afternoon return to the guesthouse.

Day 3 : Nam Cat Tien
Early morning drive to Bau Sau. At Bau Sau begin bird watching along forest trails. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Bau Sau station. Transfer to jeep for late afternoon return to guesthouse.
Overnight in the national park guest house.

Day 4 : Nam Cat Tien - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast make the return drive to Ho Chi Minh City.
