Overnight at Zehpyr hotel, a cosy  boutique style by Hoan Kiem lake.

Day 02: Hanoi - Sapa - bus
Our adventure starts with the drive to the mountain town of Sapa. The journey to Sapa will take the best part of the day. The drive is worthwhile though, as the scenery on our northward journey into the highlands is both dramatic and breathtaking. Arriving in Sapa late in the afternoon, we will check into our hotel and use the remainder of the day with a short walk around town. This evening we will dine at one of the local restaurants.

(Lunch and Diner included)

Day 03: Sapa  Catcat village & Tavan village
Today we start by our pleasant walk  to Cat Cat village, set in a beautiful valley just outside Sapa. Cat Cat is home to the H’mong people who originated from China, where they emigrated from about 300 years ago. The H’mong people are also easily recognizable due to their dark clothing, usually blue or black. The dye is fashioned from the indigo or hemp plant that is native to the area. H’mong women wear long aprons with embroidered waistcoats and have their hair rolled up into a turban-like hat, whilst the men wear a black skullcap, long waistcoat and loose trousers. Stopping for a picnic lunch by the creek  we will spend the night with a family in Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay  people who are Vietnam’s largest minority group, numbering more than one million , of Tay- Thai group. They have become very adept at rice cultivation and, in marked contrast to the H’mong, they have a higher living standard as a result. Overnight at tribal village.
(Breakfast, Lunch and  Dinner included)

Day 04: Tavan village – BanHo villages
We bid farewell to our friendly people and head out for Seo Trung Ho village, we climb uphill and down dales to Seo Trung Ho, Dzao village. From here we pass through several H'mong villages perched on distant  hill, and are sure to attract attention as  this part of the country receive very  few visitors. We will arrive at Ban Ho village, Tay minority people by later afternoon . We will have time to walk around this charming little village, enabling us to understand a little more about how the people live. The village is home to the Tay people and tonight we will be their guests in one of their traditional stilt houses. There we will be toasted as honored guests and will be able to sample some of their homemade rice wine!
(Breakfast, Lunch and  Dinner included)

Day 5: Sinchai villages
Following breakfast we embark on our five to six-hour trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you will meet. We cross the river and passing by Nam Tong villages, Red Dzao people. We walk  uphill toward Supan, red Dzao villages. As we walk to the village nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. These minority people walk to Sapa to trade at the markets. Sapa market is always an exciting place as several, different ethnic minorities congregate here. As well as the H’mong you will also see the Dao (pronounced Zao). Dao women are particularly striking as they wear a large red turban often covered with old coins or jewelry. We meet our awaiting jeep for the drive to Sapa. Tonight’s accommodation will be at a local guesthouse.
