Itinerary
Saigon- Nha Trang- Danang- Hoi An-
Danang- Hanoi- Sapa- Hanoi
Day 1: Saigon arrival
We will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat
Airport and transfer you to your
hotel. The rest of the day you are
free at leisure.
Day 2: Saigon- Tay Ninh- Cu Chi-
Saigon- Nha Trang
In the morning, you will depart for
Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh province,
what is known as the centre of the
holy chair of Caodaism. This
religion includes bits and pieces of
most of the religious philosophies
known in Vietnam during the early
20th century. You will attend a
ceremony at the temple and please
take your shoes off as entering the
temple. After lunch you will visit
the Cu Chi tunnels. The Cu Chi
Tunnels are an impressive network of
tunnels with a length of over 250
km. This strategic place was used by
15,000 Viet Cong fighters during the
war. Then you will return to Saigon
for a night train at 11:00 pm to Nha
Trang.
Day 3: Nha Trang
The train will arrive in Nha Trang
around 5:30 am. You will be
transferred to the hotel, have
breakfast (not included in the
program) and wait for the check-in
time. This day you will be free to
explore the beach.
Day 4: Nha Trang
Today you have a free day in Nha
Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang- Danang- Hoi An
We will transfer you to the train
station to take a train at 5:23 am
to Danang. The train goes along the
coastal line of this poor region
will show you thousand magnetic
landscapes of beach sites, mounts,
bustle towns and the characteristic
cultural lives of the local people.
The train arrives in Danang at 2:00
pm. You will be picked up and
transferred to Hoi An for check-in
at the hotel. Rest of the day you
are free.
Day 6: Hoi An- Danang - Hanoi
Free in the morning. We transfer you
to the train station at 1:00 pm to
take the train to Hanoi. You will
overnight on the train.
Optional: because it is a long tour,
this part can also be done by
flight.
Day 7: Hanoi
After being picked up at the train
station, transferred to the hotel to
check-in and refresh, you will start
a full day city tour. The
sightseeing tour will show you the
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the one
pillar Pagoda, the Temple of
Literature, the Ho Chi Minh Stilt
House, the Ngoc Son Temple and the
Ancient Quarter.
Day 8: Hanoi- Halong- Hanoi- Lao Cai
In the morning, you will transfer to
Halong Bay, about 200 km from Hanoi.
It takes you about 3 hours to get
there. Then you will have a cruise
on Halong Bay to most caves, have
seafood on board for lunch and have
pleasure time for swimming and
sunbathing. In the afternoon, you
will return to Hanoi for a night
train at 10:20 pm to Lao Cai.
Day 9: Lao Cai- Sapa
The train arrives in Lao Cai early
in the morning around 6:00 am. You
will be woken up and picked up for a
drive to Sapa for refreshing and
having breakfast. Then, take a jeep
to Ta Van for a trekking through Ta
Van - Giang Ta Chai along a stream,
up and down on the hill side trails.
After having lunch, you will head
down on small trails to further
villages, mountains, waterfalls.
Take a jeep back to hotel for
overnight.
Day 10: Sapa- Lao Cai- Hanoi
After breakfast, walk down to Shin
Chai of the Black H'Mong then head
along the stream to Cat Cat, a
village close to Sapa but out of
commercialization for their specific
tradition. Visit the local houses on
the way back to Sapa. Free at
leisure around Sapa until 5:30 pm,
then you will take a drive to Lao
Cai station for the night train at
8:30 pm back to Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi
Transfer from the train station to
hotel. Check-in, then free at
leisure.
Day 12: Hanoi departure
at leisure till your own departure
