Itinerary
Saigon-- Nha Trang-
Danang- Hoi An- Hue- Hoi An- Hanoi
Day 01:
Arrival in Saigon
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City we will be met and transferred to
our hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure or for personal
exploration.
Day 02: Saigon & Train to Nha Trang
We take a day tour of Saigon with our guide, who will share the rich
history and cultural nuances of the city’s sights, including the
Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the colonial
themed Post Office.In the afternoon we board the Reunification
Express, traveling through the lush green paddy fields up the coast
arriving in the resort of Nha Trang in the evening.
Day 3~4: Nha Trang & Night Train to Da Nang
The next morning we take a city tour visiting the fascinating Pongar
Cham Towers, the Hon Chong Rocks and the Oceanographic Institute
featuring an aquarium full of colourful marine life including
seahorses and tropical reef fishes. After lunch we take a boat trip
to visit Hon Tam island for swimming and optional water sports.
The next day is free at our leisure before the night train departure
for Da Nang.
Day 5~ 7: Hoi An & Hue – Night Train to Hanoi
Following our morning arrival in Da Dang, we visit the famous Cham
Museum with its collection of relics from the Cham Kingdom before
continuing to Hoi An where we can wander around the old streets, a
mixture of Japanese and Chinese architecture that reflects its
history as an important trading port. The next morning, we transfer
to Hue, the cultural capital of Central Vietnam, stopping at the
Lang Co beach for lunch, before touring Hue to visit the Imperial
Citadel in the afternoon
In the following morning, we take early morning boat trip on Perfume
River to Thien Mu Pagoda before boarding the Reunification Express
for our overnight journey to Hanoi.
Day 8~9: Hanoi
After making our early morning arrival in the elegant city of Hanoi
the day is free to wander around the Old Quarter’s streets. The next
day we enjoy a full day city tour, stopping at the Hoan Kiem Lake,
the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of
Literature. In the afternoon, we enjoy a cyclo ride around the city
and its Old Quarter. In the evening, we can attend a famous Water
Puppet Show, with its introduction to Vietnamese history and
mythology. On the following day we will go to visit the World
Heritage-listed Ha Long Bay, enjoying a leisurely boat trip through
the bay stopping to explore some of the many islands, caves and
grottoes.
Day 10 Departure
The day is at leisure until transfer to Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport for
departure |
