Saigon - Mekong Delta - Nha Trang -
Hoi An - Hue - Hanoi - Halong Bay
Witness life on the banks of the
mighty Mekong River, lap up the sun
at one of Vietnam's most secluded
island and lose yourself in the
narrow winding streets of Hoi An.
Then explore the cultural heritage
of Hue, the colonial style of Hanoi
and vast open expanse of Ha Long
Bay.
Day 1 :
Arrive Ho Chi Minh City
Upon
arrival to
HCMC Airport you will be met and
taken to our hotel in HCM city.
Overnight at hotel in HCM city
Day 2 :
HCMC - Cu Chi tunnels and Tay
Ninh

In the morning we have a city
tour followed by an afternoon
trip to the renowned Cu Chi
tunnels followed by the Cao Dai
temple at Tay Ninh.
Day 3 :
Ho chi Minh City - Mekong
delta
(B,L,D)
Depart saigon for the Mekong
Delta. We take a boat around the
tributaries of the might Mekong
River to give us a proper
perspective of Delta life. We
stay in a local home stay.
Day 4 :
Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh
City

We return to Saigon in the
afternoon where the remainder of
the day is free.
Day 5 :
Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang

This morning we fly to Nha Trang
transfer to the idyllic beach
resort of Whale Island. Here you
can do as little or as much as
you desire - from snorkeling or
diving on the nearby reefs to
lazing on the beach in the
crescent - shaped lagoon!
Day 6 :
Whale Island

Free time on Whale Island .Overnight
at prime beach of Whale Island
resort
Day 7 :
Whale Island - Hoi An

Today we return to Nha Trang
before flying north to Ho An via
Danang.
Day 8 :
Hoi An
(B)
Morning orientation tour of Hoi
An' s history old quarter. The
remainder of the day is free to
wander around the narrow windy
streets of this most charming of
fishing towns.
Day 9 :
Hoi An - Hue
(B)
After breakfast we drive north
through the Hai Van (Ocean
Cloud) Pass to Hue. Here we
explore Vietnam's former capital
including the walled Citadel and
colorful Dong Ba riverside
markets.
Day 10 :
Hue
(B)
Explore Hue' s surrounding
countryside by bicycle including
a visit to some Royal Tombs and
the Thien Mu Pagoda.
Day 11 :
Hue - Hanoi
(B)
Morning flight to Hanoi. In the
afternoon we have a chance to
walk around the city's Old
Quarter.
Day 12 :
Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi
(B,L)
Drive to Ha Long Bay for a
cruise around the dramatic bay
where we also have time for a
swim in the clear waters of the
South China Sea.
Day 13 :
Depart Hanoi (B)
Tour ends after breakfast.

Fitness Requirements :
You would need to be in
reasonable physical
condition to participate in
the treks. While they are
not challenging, the fitter
you are the more enjoyment
you would find in them.

available at the hotels for
a nominal fee.

October and November Vietnam
can experience heavy rains
and flooding. Therefore
itineraries are subject to
change, as conditions
require.
What to Take :
You will be responsible for
carrying your own luggage;
therefore it is in your own
interest to pack as lightly as
possible. We suggest a main
backpack with a reasonable
daypack for the treks and day
tours. Suitcases are not
advisable for the Hilltribe &
Halong Adventure & the Vietnam
Explorer. We also recommend
strong walking shoes/boots and
sandals or sports shoes for
walking on beach and daily use.
Joining instructions:
As you pass through immigration
and customs at Hanoi airport you
will be met by our guide and
drive and transferred to your
hotel.
