The Grand Indochina Tour is one of a kind tour. Spanning three countries in a short period of 15 days, this tour does a great task of covering all the major highlights of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Visit the legendary temple of Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia, Mekong River in Laos. Halong Bay along with all the attraction from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, the water puppet show and Vietnamese traditional art are extremely impressive; the true cultural masterpieces you can't miss!

Day 1 Arrival - Vientiane - Luang Prabang
Arrive at Vientiane Airport and transfer to the city for sightseeing : Visit Hophrakeo and Wat Si Saket. Lunch at Tamnak Lao restaurant, then continue on visiting the Patousay and That Luang Stupa. Transfer back to the airport for your flight (QV 103) to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luang Prabang, transfer to Le Parasal Blanc Hotel. Dinner at the Vouthmixay restaurant. Accommodation at Le Parasal Blanc Hotel or similar.

Day 2 Luang Prabang
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple, then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to visit the famous caves of Pak-Ou, located at the side of the steep cliff on the bank of the Mekong River housing hundreds of Buddha statues. Lunch at Pha Ang Restaurant. Visit en route local rice-wine distillery and Ban Phanom weaving village. Dinner and accommodation at Le Parasal Blanc Hotel or similar.

Day 3 Luang Prabang – Vientiane
Breakfast at hotel Visit morning market, National museum (the former king’s palace), and climb up the Phousi hill for overlooking the city. Lunch at Elephant restaurant. After Lunch continue on visiting Vat Visoune, Wat Aham. Transfer to the airport for flight to Vientiane. Depart Luang Prabang by QV 104. Arrival in Vientiane and transfer to Novotel Hotel or similar. Dinner and accommodation at the Novotel Hotel.

Day 4 Vientiane – Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the morning market, then excursion to Buddha Park and visit the Friendship Bridge. Lunch (to own account). On the way back to Vientiane, stop over to visit the weaving village of Ban Nong Boa Thong. Transfer to the airport for check in and depart by VN840 to Hanoi. Arrive at Hanoi and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the Sunway Hotel or similar

Day 5 Hanoi - Halong bay cruise
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday and the whole October and November) Residence and One Pillar Pagoda. Drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. On arrival take a wooden boat and have seafood lunch on board. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Dinner and overnight on boat (private A.C cabin)

Day 6 Halong – Hanoi

Morning further exploration of Halong bay, lagoon, limestone mountains, beaches. Enjoy lunch on boat Afternoon drive back to Hanoi.

Day 7 Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An
Visit to Temple of Literature built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Quan Thanh Temple and and Museum of Ethnology. Lunch at Koto restaurant (or Brother Cafe as alternative) Transfer to the Hanoi airport . Depart Hanoi by VN 317 for Danang. Arrive in Danang, Proceed to Hoi An. Transfer to the Hoi An Hotel or similar for check-in. Dinner and accommodation at the Hoi An Hotel or similar

Day 8 Hoi An - Danang – Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Danang, transfer to visit Cham Museum; Marble Mountain and China Beach. Back to Hoi An. Lunch at White Lanterns restaurant. Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences. Visit the Phuc Kien hall, Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky old house and the workshop of traditional occupation of Hoi An ancient town. Dinner at Riverside Garden restaurant. Day 9 Hoi An - Danang - Hue
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Hue across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Arrival on Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty and transfer to the Saigon Morin Hotel or similar. Then visit Tu Duc tomb. Lunch at Club Garden restaurant. Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Transfer back to visit Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market. Dinner and accommodation at the Saigon Morin Hotel.

Day 10 Hue - Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast at hotel Transfer to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh Depart Hue by VN 251. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the Equatorial Hotel or similar Lunch at Indochine restaurant. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the Equatorial Hotel or similar Lunch at Vietnam House restaurant. City tour: visit China town, Thien Hau Pagoda, History Museum with water puppet show (if time permit) and former Presidential Palace. Make photo stops at the famous tourist sites such as Notre Dame Church, and Central Post Office. Cyclo ride from Equatorial Hotel to Rex Hotel for dinner. Accommodation at the Equatorial Hotel or similar

Day 11 Mekong Delta

This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it's floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we drive back to HCM city.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh - Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel Transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap Arrive at Siem Reap airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baksei Chamkrong, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Angkor Wat until sunset. Dinner at hotel. Accommodation at  Angkor Village Hotel

Day 13 Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel Visit of Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre temples. Lunch at Angkor Cafe D'Angkor, facing Angkor Wat Visit of Ta Prohm, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temples. Dinner at local restaurant with Apsara Dance Show Accommodation at  Angkor Village Hotel

Day 14 SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH
Breakfast at hotel Visit Floating Village and take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap. Lunch at hotel. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure flight to Phnom Penh. Depart Siem Reap by flight to Phnom Penh. Arrive at Phnom Penh International airport and transfer to hotel for check in Dinner and accommodation at Amanjaya hotel

Day 15 PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. Phnom Penh City tour: Visit National Museum, Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. Lunch at hotel. Transfer from hotel to Phnom Penh International Airport for departure flight.

Visa : Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia require foreign visitors to hold valid visa stamped into their passports. Visa for Laos and Vietnam have to be applied for and stamped into passports PRIOR to arrival to the respective countries. Visa for Cambodia can be applied for and issued upon arrival at Siem Reap airport (2 passport photos required). Visa fees are not included in the tour price and need to be paid by participants separately. We can assist in visa applications and processing, please contact us for details and prices.

Important Notice : ANGKOR COMPLEXE passport-sized photo must be attached to multiple day entrance passes to The Angkor complex (2-3 days pass and one week pass). Visitors can have their photo taken at the entrance checkpoint (1 USD per photo). We recommend, that all visitors arriving in Siem Reap have a passport photo ready prior to arrival.
