             Hanoi  - Halong bay by Emeraude Classic Cruise  - Sapa retreat - Hue - Hoian

Day 01, Sat:  Arrival Hanoi. Water puppet show Arrival  at  Hanoi airport and transfer to our hotel in Hanoi. At leisure Evening water puppet show. Overnight at  Sofitel Metropole Hanoi hotel   Day 02, Sun : Hanoi - Halong bay Emeraude Classic Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi at 0830 for a four-hour drive through the Red River     Delta to Ha Long City.  Arrive in Halong City we transfer to to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. While on board we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. When the sun come down we drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island. 08.30   09.00     Pick up from your hotel/residence in Hanoi and depart for Halong bay 12.00                Arrive at Emeraude Pier. Welcome by Emeraude staff 12.00 - 13.00     Welcome cocktail and check in on board the Emeraude. 13.00 - 18.00     The Emeraude cruises through Halong Bay passing by some of the most scenic locations including Yen Ngua, Con Coc Mountains and a floating fishing village. 13.00 - 15.00     A Vietnamese buffet lunch is served between 13.00 and 14.30 in the Emeraude restaurant 15.00 - 16.00     There is an optional guided visit to Sungsot Grotto (Grotto of Surprises), weather and tide permitting. Option of afternoon tea with pastries on the sundeck or in the restaurant and an aperitif before dinner. 16.30 - 18.00     Anchor near Trinh Nu & Hang Trong, Swimming, Kayaking. 19.00 -  21.00    Vietnamese buffet dinner is served in the Emeraude dinning room, Optional BBQ on the Sundeck Accommodation and overnight on board. Deluxe Victoria Express to Sapa 06.30                Tai Chi Class 07.00                The Emeraude sets sail once again through the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay 07.00 -  08.30    European buffet breakfast is served in the Emeraude restaurant 08.30 -  09.30    Check out. 09.30 -  10.00    Disembark at Emeraude Pier. 10.00 -  10.30    Pick up and transfer back to Hanoi. 02.00 -  03.00    Drop off at your hotel/residence. Tonight we will board evening Victoria Express train to Sapa. (Breakfast and lunch included) Day 04, Tue : Cocly Market - Sapa   The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa.  Enjoy the breakfast and transfer to Cocly market  the latest market discovered in the region. Cocly is a gathering place of  Fula, Flower H'mong, Tay, Nung , Dzao, Giay. Many local produces including, horse, chicken porks, crafts, textiles are on sales. We then embark on a boat cruise winding our way through a breathtaking landscape where the mountains grow from waters presenting their most hidden mysteries. While cruising we will enjoy our picnic lunch by the river. Transfer to Sapa (Breakfast,  lunch  included) Day 05,Wed:  Sapa Buffet breakfast at the hotel Embark on a lovely  walk  that will take us along small paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H'mong, and Dzay people. This is a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village.  Opportunity to meet with local people and study the art of making batik and local weaving villages - study textile tradition of craft women o Black H'mong and Red Dzao.  Overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel . (Breakfast and lunch included) Day 06,Thu : Scenic day train back to Hanoi We breakfast and bid farewell to friendly local people for a transfer back to Lao Cai for the Victoria Express   train journey back to Hanoi. The scenic  train journey leaves at  10:20 and takes us along the most spectacular country along Red river. We arrive back to Hanoi  8:30pm. This tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets and the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Also on the tour - the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. 08.00 - Pick up at hotel and visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes his Mausoleum and former residences, as well as the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Museum. 10.15 - Continue onto Vietnams first University, The Temple Of Literature, built in 1070.  11.30 - Have lunch at one of Hanoi’s many fine restaurants. 13.30 - Visit either the Museum of Ethnology or the History Museum. 15.30 - Visit the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. 16.45 - One hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter  Overnight at  Sofitel Metropole Hanoi hotel. (Breakfast and lunch included) Day 08, Sat  Hanoi - leisure day Leisure day in Hanoi. Visit art galleries, shop along Hangbong str., HangGai str, to buy nice little thing. 4pm treat yourselves a facial and body massage. Overnight at Sofitel Metropole Hanoi hotel. (Breakfast included)   Day 09, Sun : Hanoi - Hoian Transfer to airport for the flight to Hoian.  Arrival transfer to our hotel in  Hoian. At leisure to enjoy Hoian, walk around old town or have a coffee by the river bank. Overnight at cozy boutique  life resort  in Hoian. (Breakfast included) Day 10, Mon: Hoian - Myson Drive to visit Myson Cham ruined tower.  Myson is one of the most stunning sights in Hoi An area, and  a UNESCO World Heritage recognized Site. During the century when Tra Kieu ( then known as Simhapura) served as the political capital of Champa, My Son was the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious centre, and also may served as a burial place for Cham monarchs. My Son is considered to be Cham’s counterpart to the grand cities of South-East Asia’s other Indian influenced civilizations: Angkor( Cambodia), Bagan( Myanmar)Ayuthaya (Thailand) and Borobudur (Java).
